How will I know if the email sender is legit or not? Most emails come with official logos.

You can spot if the email is legit by searching for the official website of the company or brand and then comparing the logo of each. You have to be very careful when making your comparisons because the logo of the fake site would not look too different from the official website. You should take note of the colors and the intricate details on the logos.

There is no way for you to spot the differences between the fraudulent site and the official website because of the logo. The scammers would copy the logo of the real website and voila! The emails and the site they would send you would really look authentic. The best thing to do is to prevent suspicious senders from sending emails to your account by activating your account's or your server's spam filter tools. Another thing that you can do is to key in the URL of the official site and not just follow the link from other sites or from your email. In this way, you will be automatically redirected to the official website.

Who can see the future? Since the dawn of the human civilization, those who can answer yes to this question with sincerity and confidence were regarded with reverie. In ancient Greek civilization, for instance, seers were considered high priests. Today, the holiness and sanctity associated with prophets and seers have diminished, but the admiration many people express when they perform feats showing their gifts is undeniable. Even in today's modern world, prophets are still given high regards. To the question if anyone can really have an insight about the future, I would say yes. Remember Nostradamus. Didn't he prove several times that seers and prophets do exist? Aside from him, there are many other people who got famous because of their psychic abilities.

Compare the URLs. You should go to the official site of the company and then compare its URL with the one you deem to be suspicious. You also have to evaluate the content of the site. Does the site ask you for personal info such as your account number and credit card number? Does the site offer too good to be true benefits? If the answers to all these are yes, then it's time that you take extra precaution when you deal with the site. You have to check the logo and also the URL of the site, as well as take note of any contact information.

Hackers and other cyber criminals use emails to commit crimes online. They usually use the phishing scheme to find their victims. Phishing scams involve setting a bait to lure Internet users to give important info about themselves. This bait usually comes in the form of emails from seemingly authentic and official site. The message asks the recipient to follow the link. The link would bring one to a site that looks normal and legitimate at first glance. If the phishing scheme involves a bank, the site looks like the official website of that particular bank. But if one thoroughly examine the logo and compare it with the logo from a certified official site, there are differences that one could spot.
